SCHOONER CREEK BOAT WORKS
BUILDING A
CUSTOM BOAT
WITH SCBW
Established in 1977, Schooner Creek Boat Works began with a group of dedicated craftspeople building wooden sailboats and has grown to be recognized as one of the nation's most reputable manufacturers of high-quality power and sailing vessels.
Today our crew of devoted technicians, under the ownership of Kevin and Shauna Flanigan, specialize in the construction of commercial catamarans for the tourism market. Our state-of-the-art facility most recently produced the Morrelli and Melvin 65' catamaran for O'Neill Yacht Charters. We are currently constructing two 65’ catamarans for Teralani Sailing Adventures.
We build boats in all size ranges for pleasure and commercial use, whether it be an ocean crossing carbon fiber rowboat like Emerson or a commercial day charter catamaran like one of our builds that are currently operating in the Hawaiian islands: Kai Oli’ Oli, Alii Nui, Trilogy II, and Holokai.

BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP

We aim to exceed customer expectations, ask for feedback and show our appreciation for your business. We believe our reputation is our bond.

QUALITY
CONSTRUCTION
Each of our custom constructed vessels are built to meet the demands of the ocean. Our craftspeople are well versed in the traditional as well as the latest technologies of vacuum infusion and carbon fiber construction. We use vinyl ester and epoxy infused fiberglass construction with carbon fiber reinforcements. We always strive for quality and strength allowing for low-maintenance boats with limited downtime and haul-out time.
CREATE YOUR
CUSTOM DESIGN
We work with world renowned naval architects Morrelli and Melvin, Kurt Hughes, John Marples, Robert Perry, and Tom Wylie. We also work closely with the United States Coast Guard to guide each design through USCG regulations. We are currently working with a sleek Wave Piercing bow mold for a 65’ hull designed by Morrelli and Melvin.
